Life Recap: January 2017

So I've decided to do a little life update each month, just to keep you guys updated with what's happening with pika, and just other shit.

January was an interesting one. I did a bit of a talent show, and that was a fucking nightmare, but I'll do a write up of that later. Color guard heated up, we had our first competition and as I'm writing this we're headed to our second. Also in color guard news, I've taken a bit of an interest of one of the girls.  She's quite a bit like pika: cute, nerdy, and funny. Things have been going well,  we hit it off, went to the movies with some friends once, played some video games. She knows I like her, I was tired of trying doing all that stupid shit where you try to hide it or make some convoluted scheme to try to see if she's interested, so I just told her straight up that I had a crush on her. She said she already knew, and liked my honesty. I'm not sure if she likes me, but at this point if she didn't the world wouldn't end. On the Pika front, we still talk a lot. Turns out I can't go to states either, and we're both pretty depressed about that. She still wants to see me, she said she wanted to come up for spring break. She's still dating machamp, as far as I know, but she still wants to kiss me. When I brought up her boyfriend, she just said she wouldn't tell him. I don't know about you, but I've already made out with someone's girlfriend, and I still feel like shit about it, so I have no plans to do it again. I haven't been texting her as much, mostly because of my romantic interest in guard. I'm not so sure about her anymore; if she's willing to cheat on her boyfriend to kiss me, would she be willing to cheat on me if I did succeed in dating her? I'm not going to lie, I still have feelings for her, but the whole machamp situation is rather unsettling. Only time will tell what happens next.
